Equipment Training

A crucial part of our success is our team’s mastery over the tools and techniques we employ. Technicians are given intensive, hands-on and classroom training that emphasizes the proper use, maintenance and care of our equipment. Our people are taught to balance safe, methodical work with efficient, high-yield production, ensuring we complete our work without costly incidents and delays.

Safety Training

New recruits undergo OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety training within their first week of employment. As they progress and establish their reliability and commitment, technicians receive OSHA 30-Hour training with a refresher every five years. As job-specific needs arise, technicians undergo specialized training in topics such as excavations, fall protection, confined space and crane safety.

Silica Training

All CTI employees receive instruction that meets OSHA’s training standard for respirable crystalline silica. New hires get this within their first week, and all employees receive annual refresher training and certification cards. Important aspects covered are the use of effective engineering controls to abate potential harm, and the correct selection, fitting and use of protective masks. As part of CTI’s comprehensive respiratory protection program, silica training safeguards the health and wellbeing of everyone on our jobsites.
